Machining
Machining is the process of taking a raw material and cutting it into a desired shape and size by a controlled removal process. At Pesznecker Brothers, we use a broad assortment of state-of-the-art equipment combined with extremely talented and creative machinists that enable us to offer precise workmanship, quality products, and quick turnaround times.
Whether you want a high-production job or a unique specialized item, Pesznecker Brothers has what you need, including six CNC Turning Centers and eleven Milling Centers. If you feel more old school, we also have the equipment and talent to perform manual machining. We train our CNC operators (and some project managers) in the most current machining software, technologies, and techniques so that our customers are always properly assisted with their every machining need.
CNC Milling
CNC stands for Computer Numeric Control, so CNC milling is just a computer controlled automation of the milling process. Milling generally is a process of removing material from a workpiece with special tooling while the workpiece is held securely in place. CNC milling centers generally cut on three axes (X, Y, Z), but some can cut on as many as six.
CNC Turning
Similar to milling, CNC turning denotes the increased automation of a machining process that in the past was done manually. Turning is a material removing process for shaping the interior and exterior of cylindrical objects. With our four axis lathes, milled features are also possible without having to rely on a secondary milling process. Some of our lathes are also equipped with bar feeders for added efficiency of production turning projects.
Production Sawing
If you need any carbon, stainless steel, or aluminum cut into a certain length, and you want it done with a quick turnaround, bring it to the experts at Pesznecker Brothers. Our production sawing capabilities allow us to saw large quantities of material to very specific lengths in a short amount of time.
Fixturing
Fixtures are used during the production process to locate and hold the work pieces. They are extremely useful when performing high-production jobs allowing for quick and efficient repeated production with less effort from the machinist. At Pesznecker Brothers, we can fabricate and machine custom make fixtures for your business operation or your parts.
Conventional Milling/Lathe Work
If your next project requires a more old-school touch, our machinists are well-trained in traditional and conventional milling and lathe work. Each project is different. If it is more efficient to machine your parts using conventional methods, we will utilize our manual machines to achieve the result you are looking for.
